ARP 8740 LS Head Stud Kits - Select Engine Pattern

Choose the ARP 8740 head stud kit that matches your engine block:

• ARP 234-4316: early LS1 staggered-length main fastener pattern, generally pre-September 2003.
• ARP 234-4317: later equal-length main fastener pattern used on applicable later LS1 and Gen IV LS2/LS3/LS6 engines.

Check the actual block and removed fastener pattern before ordering. A vehicle build year alone is not conclusive. LSA, LS9, six-bolt LSX and ARP2000 kits require a separate specification and are not included in these two 8740 choices.
